Home property damage
Evergreen trees along back of home property damaged by neighbor living behind . Do I have any legal recourse?
Re: Home property damage
Geneally, the owner of the neighboring property is permitted to trim branches and vines which extend into his yard, unless that pruning unreasonably damages/injures the trees. He is not permitted to cut roots. On the other hand, as the owner of the trees, you have the responsibility for maintaining the trees so as to not damage neighboring properties.
