Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

HUD 1 Settlement Statement

After the purchase of my second home i receieved a hud 1 settlement statement telling you where all the money was dispersed. I have found that either my money didnt go to my down payment or they sold me the house for more than what was agreed. the seller was also supposed to pay all closing cost and it seems they paid nothing. The paper work i signed stating deposits down payment and balance of new loan is not what was agreed to. any info would be greatly appreciated thank you.

Re: HUD 1 Settlement Statement

The HUD-1 statement can be difficult to interpret, sometimes. Did you purchase your home through a real estate agent? If so, they or the title/escrow company should be able to explain it to you.

If you would like, you can fax a copy of your original purchase contract and the HUD-1 to me, and I will take a look at it.

My fax number is 925-397-3044
