Certainly, as long as you reside at a place you do not own you have to pay someone rent. The landlord might rescue the property at the last minute. Find out, however, were your last month's security deposit is so that if the foreclosure does go through you will not be stuck with the problem of the former owner not holding the security rent for you.

Yes but the question will become to whom. As soon as the house is sold do not pay the now former owner. Chances are the soon to be former owner is not going to bother spending the money to evict you and it will take months for the bank to get around to demanding money from you so you might be able to live rent free for a while. By the way if you are on month to month the bank has to give you 90 days to move out and if you have a lease then that have to wait until the end of the lease.

Good luck and hope this helps.

You don't pay - you'll get evicted and sued for the arrears, either by the current, or the new owner..
