Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

Landlord entry into my apartment

During the last month and a half of my lease my landlord has excessively shown the apartment to 20 to 30 potential tenants in as many appointments. On a couple of occasions she didn't call to give any notice. On other occasions she called mid morning for an appointment later in the day, and on other occasions her appointments were after normal business hours. I have a witness to the first type of occasion and several saved voicemails to the later two types of occasions. During this time I had requested her to give me proper notice as I was having guest from out of town. She continued to show the apartment many more times and again without proper notice, including yet another incident with no notice. My lease ends on the 15th of July and I moved to a new apartment. What recourse can I take against her for her complete disregard for my privacy?

Re: Landlord entry into my apartment

Clearly the landlord is not allowed to enter your apartment without your permission. I suggest you ask your landlord for a refund of the last month's rent because you were deprived of quiet possession of the premises. If you do not get satisfaction, you could file in small claims court.
