Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

laundry facilities

The dryers in our apt. building do not function in the low, or gentle, setting. I told the manager about it and he said that as long as the dryers work (in the other settings), he will not have them fixed. Is there any way I can get him to fix the dryers without deliberatly breaking them?

Re: laundry facilities

No, unless your lease specifically requires the landlord to provide laundry facilities of the particular kind you want.

If the machines are vandalized, the landlord might remove them permanently rather than repairing. He may also remove you permanently if you're caught.
