can a lien be put on my property even if there is a homastead filed

i owe many credit card debts that i cannot pay .can these people put liens on my property evevn though i filed a homestead awhile back?

Filing a homestead declaration won't protect you from someone filing a judgment lien against your home.

A Homestead protects a portion of the equity of your house. Most equity houses in California greatly exceed the maximum amount that can be protected by a homestead. It does not stop the lien from attaching to you home.
