Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

I live in Colorado and I am looking to either sell or donate my 1988 Buick Riviera. The car is in fair condition, I used it before as a daily driver (but haven't driven it in 9 months since I was living abroad), but the car isn't running now. If I sold it, what can I do to make sure the potential buyer later doesn't say "Hey, the car is having all these problems you never told me about?" Would I need to sell it as-is? I'm not a mechanic, so I don't know what parts of the engine are in good condition or not. Bottom line, how can I sell my car where I don't need to worry about the buyer coming back later if something breaks down on the car? Thanks!
