Loan rates for service member in a war zone

If a service member is serving in a war zone, can his/her mortgage loan rate be reduced to 6% during the time period they are assigned to this area?

Yes, upon a successful application and if all the qualifying requirements are met. Contact the Armed Forces Information Service or look up the Soldiers' and Sailors' Relief Act on the Web.
