Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

mobilehome

My ex & I owned a mobilehome, put it up for sale when we separated in 1993. By the end of 94, I was told we ''lost'' it from the real estate agent who was trying to sell it. He's no longer an agent. Divorced and now married and living in another county for the last 9 yrs, found out I have judgements against me since 2001, 02, & 03 for taxes for house I don't own. HUD says its still mine. Never received any legal documents, only found out recently. Can't get info from bank--too old. Is it mine? If I pay judgments, can I sell it? Can I have my name removed as legal owner since I haven't owned it since 1994? What are some options available? Ex left state and won't deal with it. Since he wouldn't sign off, does that mean I am stuck in this hole with no way out? Please help. Lisa

Re: mobilehome

The first question I have is: what do you mean you "lost" it in 1994. Who's living in the place?
