Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

My neighbors are convinced that one of my trees is gonna fall onto their house because it's the type of tree that grows at an angle toward the sun. The tree is over hanging past my property line, but my gardener has told me that the tree is fine and poses no threat what so ever.

Do I have to legally cut down a perfectly healthy tree?

Are they allowed to cut my tree?

It most cases, thet have the right to cut the tree back to the property line.
