Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

Property is in Nevada, both seller and buyer are in California. Can i choose a real estate attorney in California or must it be from Nevada to solve the non-disclosure issue? I also know this seller just sold few properties which 'i believe' he did not disclose and the buyers did not find out. The reason being when i found out the issue and confronted him, he told me he did the same to all other properties, no permit and never problem. He advice me to buy as the lucrative rental could easily cover the permit issue if one day i need one...but i did not buy his word...

If any attorney want a case, please provide me your contact.

If the property is in Nevada, Nevada law would govern seller and agent disclosure duties, and therefore your question should be addressed to Nevada lawyers on LawGuru.

I totally disagree with Mr. Whipple. If seller and buyer are in CA, you can proceed in CA with CA counsel.

The law governing what is required when you sell real estate in Nevada is governed by Nevada law. Where someone lives is irrelevant to this choice of law issue. You need to speak to a Nevada attorney.
