Property settlement
A house is bought together with equal funds, a year later wife leaves. House payments made for 12 years by husband who is seeking a divorce. Is wife entitled to half of house?

Considering the amount involved in this matter you should be consulting an attorney. She owns 1/2 of the house. The issue is what rights to reimbursement is he entitled. The possibilities would depend upon the facts of your case, and must be disucssed to fully evaluate.

This is not cut and dry. Likely argument and may be acceptable to court, is that she may be entitled only to share equity increase during her occupancy, ie joint payment of payments, etc.
