real estate judgment

A judgment has been filed against me personally using corporate dba a California Corporation. I am the President and disolving corporation since the loss of my husband. Is this a correct filing?

Technically, it is not the filing of the judgment that you must attack; it is the grant of the judgment in the first place. Under the facts given (which are limited and a bit confusing), it appears that the judgment could have been prevented by a proper defense of the underlying lawsuit, and that there is a personal jurisdiction problem. Judgments can be set aside after being granted, and if the problem is jurisdictional, you may have extra time to do it, but you'll need a lawyer and if the problem is not jurisdictional, you are facing time limits, so act promptly.
