Rental security & rent money
My male tenant renting my room gave me a security deposit and first months rent. After on week he killed himself. Now his male friend wants me to give him the rent money and security money. Is this legal?

I gave a more detailed answer on your second posting of this question. In short, keep the rent money, and refund the net balance of the deposit, if any, to the executor or rightful heir.
