Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

I need to sign a request for dismissal in a real estate case. I see where I have to sign it on the front, but the back has a section regarding court fees. Do I need to complete and sign this section? I was not the one who brought the action.

Also, do I mail it to the attorney who sent it to me to sign or straight to the court clerk?

If the court did not waive filing fees for you to appear in the action (such as file an Answer if you're defendant and you were indigent) then don't worry about it.

Mail it back to plaintiff's attorney as he or she instructed. Plaintiff brought the action so usually is the one who dismisses it.
