Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

I signed a lease after looking at the model only. I requested several times to see the actual unit and was told it could not be seen untilt the day of move in. After signing the lease I saw the apt. and it was not what had been represented in the model. immediately go back to the office turn in the keys and say I do not want the place. The agent seems confused and tells me she is not sure how she can refund the money as I am already in the system and she has to ask her mangager. The manager say that because I signed the lease I am bound to it. I never took possession of the property and the model was misleading. Can I get out of the lease?
