Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

OK this is the situation I currently receive social security from my deceased father for a few disabilities. I have been on social security all my life. I have never had a regular full time job I have always had part time or full time what they call seasonal jobs. I am in the process of trying to get a job and am aware the economy is bad right now. I have a certificate of completion from a accredited junior college in Computer Information Systems Microcomputer Applications Emphasis and I also have a diploma from accredited technical trade school in Computer Technology. I know there are some factors for me not getting full time employment such as my age 36, no Bachelor degree or Masters lack of work history and gaps in my work history, being on social security and bad credit.

I am currently living my little brother and his girlfriend, I have been here a year now and they keep putting pressure on me to get full time employment or two part time jobs. They want me to be an independent fully functional individual able to live my life and stand on my own two feet. We had a disagreement yesterday which I was told get a full time job or two part time jobs in 3 months or get out and asked to leave. The problem is we live in a town house where all 3 of us have signed a 3 year lease with a private person. I offered to leave and they said if they did they would sue me for leaving I have to leave on their terms. So my question is can I break the lease on my own by giving the landlord 60 days notice or since they by them throwing me out after 90 days is it the lease no longer valid??? I can't see paying $575.00 a month being homeless and having to pay rent when no benefit of a home. I live in Emeryville, California which is a part of Oakland.

"They want me to be an independent fully functional individual able to live my life and stand on my own two feet." Gee.

Maybe if you got a job, you could pay rent, and then you wouldn't be homeless. Can I have fries with that?
