Probably three years; see Code of Civil Procedure section 338(c)(1), which seems to be the best fit. The statute would "begin to run" when the party claiming an interest first realized, or with reasonable diligence should have realized, that something was amiss and maybe he oughta file a legal action. Interpreting and applying statutes of limitations is sometimes complicated and tricky, and if you have any doubts about the possible validity of your suit, see a lawyer. Also, a statute of limitations is an affirmative defense that must be raised by the defendant, otherwise it is waived.
