Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

Help about stolen rent from my unit as acting onsite management

I manage an appartment bldg and I was robbed of 1,500 by someone who was coming and going out of my unit when i mvd in. Tried to pay back the mney but she fired me on the spot, saying I stole the money. What is and can embelzzement be charged against me. I am afraid of going to jail and I have tried to talk to her but she is angry. Also was fired on Aug 27 and on Sept 1 she demanded full rent which was impossible for me to do, she has called my family and friends to let them know what her opinion is about the situation. and now I am being evicted for nonpayment of the rent. Can she do that? Rent as manager was 400 monthly, when fired went to 980.00 she served 3 day notice on the fourth for full payment. I have answered her summons and complaint. Siting the eviction was an act of retaliation

Any thoughts.

I appreciate any help

By contacting friends and relatives, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act may have been violated. However, this probably will not stop the eviction--but I could use it as leverage to slow it down.
