What procedure should i follow to stop a judgement

Your question leaves two things unclear. First, are you asking how to prevent a default judgment in the first place, or how to handle the consequences of a default that has already occurred? Second, what kind of default are you writing about? Is it a failure to answer a summns and complaint? If so, is it unlawful detainer or some other kind of action, and in what court? Please advise and I can perhaps give you a better answer.

Unless it is a small-claims matter you should probably consult a local attorney, bringing all your papers with you, to avoid possibly serious consequences.
