How soon will I and my three children be forced to leave the house that as of August 2010 has been forclosed?

Probably right away. But if you did not rent from the owner, and were the owner foreclosed on, you are not considered a tenant, so most of what Mr. Stone referred you to would be inapplicable.

By statute, the unlawful detainer remedy applies to an owner who remains in possession of the premises after foreclosure, but that does not mean the owner becomes a tenant of the foreclosing lender, or the person who may have purchased at a trustee's sale,
