Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

I was woken up last night by fire truck b/c my car's the back was on fire. THe police and fire fighters stated while they couldn't prove it was arson they do think it is possible; the officer said they didn't have a police report b/c they can't "prove" it was an accident. The fire fighter did find a water bottle cap at the scene which he suspects filled with gasoline - but again I'm confused b/c I now have to call my insurance but I believe it was arson. It wasn't a fancy car or anything but it runs well and I don't have any payments on it or anything. I think my road has easy access for some kids to have run away

This happens fairly frequently in East Bay (S.F. Bay area), where it is indeed arson. What's your question?
