Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in California

Already filled a complaint - concerned

I first went to Human Resources to file a ''concern.'' I stated it as a concern due to the fact that the perpeI trator has been warned about sexual harrashment before and not much was done about it. I assumed that he would still be working with the company. I stated that I didn't want my name mentioned so we would be able to still co-exist in the work environment and I didn't want to be labled as a ''tattletail.'' Needless to say most of the company knows and I have been stressed out. The company has been fair in letting me work from home a majority of the days of the week. I do have to return back full time in the first week of April. I can't help but feel like I have this black cloud over my head. My review was up in February. My manager is a procrastinator. I opted to have my review set back because I knew that I wasn't working to my potential. My company is in liquidation and the position I hold is one that would last until the very end. Human Resources has questioned shortening that. This never came up before my complaint. There is much more that 1250 words won't fill. Should I give you guys a call?

Re: Already filled a complaint - concerned

Thanks for your posting. Although you state you are "concerned", you are not specific about what your concerns are or what you are facing. Is your concern that the job you are going to lose anyway might be lost sooner rather than later? To the extent that you can prove that it is in retaliation for complaining (and it is illegal for an employer to terminate you based upon complaint that an employee or supervisor is in violation of the law).

Best of luck.
