Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in California

Intentional accusation of sexual harassment

I was falsely accused of sexual harassment by a subordinate. Her motive was to get rid of me. The company will clear me from all accusations, but what recourses do I have?

This whole thing is causing problems at home, effecting my health....

What I can I do? Can I sue her?

Re: Intentional accusation of sexual harassment

from the facts submitted, you would have a few tortious causes of action at your disposal if you wanted to sue your co-worker making the "false accusations", especially since such accusations attack your business professionalism, etc...under the circumstances, you would have standing for defamation of character, invasion of privacy (false light), and possibly several other torts you could sue this person for and collect special damages as well quite possibly. if you would like further legal assistance with this matter, please email my office directly with how and when you might like to proceed.
