Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in California

I purchased a used vehicle from a dealer, i needed to take back to get fixed. The manger on my second visit made sexual advances towards me. I ignored, so I took back in to get repaired and was told that it would take about two hours. The manager made more sexual advances, I rebuffed and he then stated I did not know what I just did, how I would regret not wanting his "friendship" He then spoke to mechanic and I was told it would take 8 hours to be fixed. I did not have a ride home and had to make arrangements to bring car back, do I have any legal options to pursue against this person.

You can make a formal complaint and demand for 'damages' to the company, and probably have a technical right to sue under the Unruh Act for discrimination in business. However, your 'one time' problem is not going to be 'high value' enough to justify spending money and time on a lawsuit. You can threaten it, but would have to think long and hard before investing money beyond paying an attorney to do a 'threat letter'. If serious about doing that, feel free to contact me.
