Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in California

is sexting among minors in a California high school illegal and does the high school administration have to report the incident to the police if nude photos of minors were exchanged between students?

I have no idea whether or not sexting between high school students is legal, but I can tell you that not only is sending nude pics (of minors) to each other is illegal, but if caught with nude pics in your device, you can be charged with distribution of child pornagraphy, and horrible legal things can happen after that. Please do not engage in that activity. For your bonus answer, Gov Jerry Brown made it illegal for college students to engage in sex, unless the female student gave an affirmative "yes" for each step, including the first kiss, and for each progressive touch. Sounds crazy, and it is, but it's the new world we voted for.
