Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in California

Sexual harassment follow through

Hello,

I have two cases where my employees made a remark on my sexual orientation which offended me. I did write statements and gathered statements from witnesses. I let my Manager know, however, no action was ever taken. I did follow up myself with those employees and told them that their remarks were uncalled for and were considered offensive sexual orientaion harassment. Is there any way I could make this an extreme concern?

Thanks for your advice.

Re: Sexual harassment follow through

If offensive conduct continues to occur repeatedly after notice to the employer, and the employer does nothing about it, then you may have a claim to pursue. You should then discuss it with experienced counsel. Call if interested 714-960-7584
