Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in California

I have been sexually harassed at work for months by a higher up manager who is known to say racy comments. I recently reported it to my hr department but they did very little and when i called to follow up they never answered and never called me back. My manager was the one that decided to fire him not our HR department. can i sue my company for this?

No one can prevent you from suing, but in order to have a successful claim you must have evidence and proof of what you claim, other than your 'word'. Do you have any witnesses or other evidence as to his 'harassment' or overtures to you or others? Is there anything in writing from him, like notes or emails? Have you or others made more than this one complaint about him?

If you believe you can support your claim like that, feel free to contact me to discuss your case facts.
