disabled survivors benefits

if I inherit a portion of a small nursery and the 15000 dollars i will put in the bank will i still receive my benefits I am disabled and am receiving survivors social security not ssi

Hello!

First, Disability/Survivors Social Security is not "income" affected as directly like SSI. Since the "inheritance" is not an income generating asset (this info was left out of your question) just an "asset" you should be ok. It is when there is verifiable income exceeding $500.00 per month for more than the Code specifies for so many months that you can lose benefits. Based upon the minimal facts that you have provided, you should be ok. By the foregoing, I am not giving you a concrete legal opinion as it is based soolely upon the very skimpy fact pattern provided and general law concerning Soc Sec benefits.
