Legal Question in Tax Law in California

Non Profit Organization 501c3

Dear Sir/Madam,

Our Central committee is registered in Colorado as Non-Profit Organization and have 501c3.

We have several local chapters in various states affiliated with this organization with same bylaw, name and same mission and goal.

We have local chapter in California too and would like to use the same 501C3 number for Tax.

Do the California state law allow us to use same IRA 501c3 number and do an activities in California?

If not; where and what should we do to be an active non-profit organization?

Please, need help. what exactly is the law of California.

Thank you very much and looking forward your cooperation.
