Legal Question in Tax Law in California

Pay NO Income Tax Schmes

Are there any truth to what people claim regarding income tax being ''voluntary''. Claims by various people, including Irwin Schiff.

Does it mention anywhere in legat writings that income tax is mandatory and is required or does it mention it being voluntary?

If this is all a scheme, why are people like Irwin Schiff not in jail? Why is the IRS letting him do what he is doing?

Bogus, as you obviously suspect.

Please consult the following URL, which points to an article by James Maule, a tax professor at Villanova Law School:

http://vls.law.vill.edu/prof/maule/taxprotfr.htm

This debunks a wide variety of "tax protester" arguments. None of these schemes work, and they will ultimately cost you a lot of money in addition to the taxes that you will have to pay.

Best wishes,

Re: Pay NO Income Tax Schmes

This is a phoney scheme which will end up costing you a fortune in taxes, interest and penalties. There is the additional threat of criminal penalties. I have had a number of clients who were suckered by various tax protest movements. It is a sure loss for you.

Please see my online article about this and other scams at:

I hope this helps!
