Legal Question in Telecomm Law in California

Is there a new list you can get on to ban telemarketers from calling you?
I thought I heard of a new law in California that enables the public to ban telemarketers from calling them by requesting their name be placed on a list that requires the telemarketers to remove the name of said individual. If this is true, where can I find this list and how do I get my name onto it? Thank you for your time and responses in advance.

There will soon be a National List for this purpose, but there is no information available for it at this time.
