Legal Question in Traffic Law in California

Who's at fault?

I was recently involved in an auto accident at an

intersection. The intersection has a three way signal running east

to west north to south (sort of a crisscross formation) I

was about to go through the intersection as the other light

in the opposite direction was turning yellow to red and I new my

light would be turning green. However, another vehicle was

driving through the intersection trying to make the yellow

light as I was proceeding to make my light as it was to

turn green. He ended up broadsiding me on my driver

side. I took the brunt of the damage and he only had a

scratch on his front passenger side where the head light

is. Am I at fault? Since my light hadn't actully turned

green and his was yellow going on red??

Re: Who's at fault?

You are not allowed into the intersection until your light is greeen and all traffic previously in the intersection had cleared it. You are at fault.
