Legal Question in Traffic Law in California

My friend and myself were driving to the movies and some guy started being a dick to us on the road. my friend, the driver, has anger issues so he decides to swerve in and out of the other driver's lane causing him to swerve as well. We were nowhere beside him so he was never in any danger. We were out in front of him. Anyway, the other driver catches up to us and flashes his phone at us while shouting, "I got you mother******!" Apparently he got us on video. My question is: can the guy get that to the police and incriminate the driver? The car isn't his, so what then? (I think it's his parent's car) What kind of charge would that be and what are the consequences? Reckless driving?Thank you in advance for any help.

Your friend could be vulnerable to a number of charges, the most serious being assault with a deadly weapon, the "weapon" being the vehicle. If convicted of that charge, he could be facing a LIFETIME driver's license revocation! Very serious conduct indeed. He should talk to a criminal lawyer immediately, because if there is going to be some police action, he needs to know a lot of information that I can give him BEFORE he talks to the cops. If he'd like to talk to me, ask him to call ASAP, even over this weekend. Steve Mandell 310 393 0639
