Legal Question in Traffic Law in California

License Suspended and didn't show up for court

I have a number of issues. I have one ticket cited for speeding and no proof of insurance. Which I have not yet paid for and I did not show up for court. Thus my license was suspended. This occured in October of 2003. Since then I have gotten another ticket for expired registration and no proof of insurance.

I have gotten insurance and I am waiting my renewal tags for my car. I want to know what are the legal repercussions for my actions and what things I should do first and then next.

I fear that i will be put in jail and my financial situation was the cause of my non-appearance in court in the first place.

Can you please advise me on this matter because I have no family that can help me.

Thank you

Generally the penalty is a fine, particularly if you have regained your license, and insurance.
