social security disability veterans disabilty

i am a vietnam veteran . im on social security disability due to asthma. can i also receive veterans disabilty benefits?

You can in many instances receive both. However the first issue is whether your disability is something related to your service in the military which is difficult to prove absent a combat wound. Check with Disabled American Veterans who in many cases will represent you in front of the Veterans Administration.
