Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California
anothers debts
My mother recently passed, are we legally responsible for her credit card debt? She has little assets left after burial expenses and hospital bills, not enough go pay off even one company. She lived with us, and I paid her payments out of my checking account after she got her social security check, but i am not an authorized user on her credit cards. I would greatly appreciate any advice you can give me. Thank you.
