Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

My brother is the trustee of my parents estate. My mom passed away Jan 2014. I do not communicate with my brother, as he brainwashed her. I live in another state. My father resides in Calif. and is being cared for by a caretaker. Per caretaker, the Doctors that come to the house to see my Dad, 91yrs old, once a month, won't speak to me although when I was there in march my Dad says it's okay to speak to me regarding his health. He can not write or I do not have ID for him, so I can't get a notary. My brother has most likely told them not to call, as he has power of attorney. My parents in the past have always wanted me to know what is going on with them, as I was there caretaker while living in Calif, for years, brother was never around. I received a text even about my mom passing away and did not know about her even being in hospice. All I want is to be put on medical info regarding my dad, as when I call he says "I am the best" The problem has never been against me and my parents, its about my brother being in control and not sharing vital info. There is also another account that I can not see as my name is not on it, but I know money goes into it as the VA is helping with my dads finances. I am his daughter and should know what is going on, but why can't the legal system help me. I have done nothing wrong, but care for my parents, even long distance.

The "legal system" [i.e the court] is not here to help you, but attorneys are. You have a possible elder financial abuse / probate / will contest issue to resolve, or at least to investigate. If serious about hiring counsel to help in this, and if this is in SoCal courts, feel free to contact me. Ill be happy to help fight and get the best outcome possible, using whatever defenses and sympathies there may be.
