Regarding California Probate Code Section 16061.7

If someone is specifically disinherited in a trust but were notified of a death pursuant to Section 16061.7 can we make it difficult to see the actual trust document?

You would be required to send that person a copy of the trust if that person requested it. You only need to show that portion of the trust that is irrevocable. If this is a joint trust and one of the settlors is still living and still has the power to revoke or amend a portion of the trust, including beneficiary designation, that portion can be covered up. However, if the trust is completely irrevocable after the death of the settler, then you will have to send them a copy to heirs at law if they request it.
