A Case Management Conference (also called the "CMC") is a hearing set by the Probate Judge. At that hearing, the judge will determine what the next step in the case should be. It could be that it is appropriate to set the case for mediation or for trial. The judge could also decide to continue the CMC if, for example, discovery is still needed. A lot depends on where your case is at. I am in the San Diego Probate Court at least once a week and would be happy to answer any questions you might have. I can be reached at 619-295-8705 or by email at [email protected]
