contesting a trust

My mother took take of my grandmother for 13yrs and in the end my grandmother had no assets other then material items, now the other 6 siblings are contesting the trust and the itemized accounting and they never once took take of my grandmother. they are trying to sue my mother for 240,000 dollars the sale of the house that was sold for the care of my grandmother before her death what do we do, my mother now lives out of state and keeps complying with there request of information and there is a statement that says anyone protesting this trust gets nothing. Do i go into fincial troubles and hire a attorney or is there any information someone can give me for help, plus my mother is handicapp she is mute. can they take her and my fathers asssets even though there is a trust also please help next court date is in January 24,2005 and i keep taking time off from work.

In order to answer this question completely and correctly it is necessary to review the trust agreement, the court records and the financial information maintained by your mother.

The primary issue is whether or not your mother performed her duties as a trustee properly and in accordance with the provisions of the trust.
