Executors Legal Responabilities to Trust Recipients

Are there any legal responabilities of a sibling who is the executor or a trust to the recipients of the trust, ie reports of disolution of estate, investment of the trust, current health of trust?

There are numerous responsibilities. If the trust was well drafted, some of them should have been explained. Call me directly at (619) 222-3504.

It is not an executor, but a trustee of the trust. I am assuming that the makers of the trust are either deceased or incapacitate in order for the successor trustee to be managing the trust. IF deceased, there is a requirement that a copy the trust be sent to you, and that periodic accounting be made.

If there are issues, you can petition the court for an accounting and supervision, including the removal of the trustee.
