Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

Our father had a trust to his half of his estate. He kept it hidden from his wife, our step-mother for three years. She found out about it. The trust was revoked soon after. We all new our father's wishes. He wanted his children to have his half of his estate. She is going to court to try to get his half in her name, the hearing is tomorrow 2/24/12. I just wanted to know if there is anything we his children can do?

Go to the hearing and ask for a continuance to hire an attorney to review the papers and the facts.
