My grandmother passed 6 years ago and I just lost my grandfather April 3, 2009. My mother was named executor of the will and trust, But she will not give me a copy of the will and trust when I am a Beneficiary and I have the right to a copy. what can I do to get a copy?

I am sorry for your loss. California Probate Code section 16061.5 would indicate you are entitled to a copy of the trust by requesting it. You might mention this to the trustee. If that does not work I would hire a probate attorney. Filing a petition in the probate Court would be a good way of forcing the trustee to provide a copy. Plus, it would be a way to create some judicial oversight of a trustee who apparently is trying to do things with no oversight! Good luck to you.
