Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

Highest Bidder on Court Approved Home Sale

I wanted to buy dads house at current market value but the Court tried to make me pay the value at the time of death. Because of the real estate losses throughout America, the current value is $100,000 LESS than the time of death. I was the highest bidder in court but the judge awarded the house to the next higher bidder just because he is paying cash. However, the escrow has NOT closed for over 30 days. My loan would have closed in five days this is NOT fair.
