I am trying to get a home equity loan, the bank keeps telling me that when my husband died our trust was split into two parts, I am being told that I keep vesting my property in the wrong trust? I am lost and do not understand. Can anyone help?

you should probably deed the property out of the trust temporarily

The trust documents need to be reviewed by an attorney and then you will be told what you need to do.

Mr. White is correct, preferably the attorney who prepared the trust documents if they are still available.
