Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

My husband and I have been separated for four years. I haven't filed divorce yet, do to not knowing his where abouts. My father recently passed and I have now a percentage of money he left me and a car and 1/3 of his house that is being sold now. How do I make sure my adult daughter and only her, receives any and all my assets ? And he nor my siblings try to take anything ?

These are a gift from your father to you. An inheritance like this are untouchable by the other party in a dissolution of marriage in community property states like California. Set up a trust for your daughter and/or a will naming her as the beneficiary.
