Does a Living Trust require a Business Tax ID or can a Living Trust be okay with a SSN?

If the trust is revocable and the original Trustor (grantor) is a Trustee, no EIN is required- the tax ID # for such a trust is the Trustor's SSN.

During the life of the Trustor, s/he uses her or his own SSN. After the death, an EIN is required.
