Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

There is a mediation next week and I am a beneficiary in a will. Do I need a lawyer to safeguard my assets ? The will is being fought between the family and my Boss' partner. I am not in anybody's side.

It is up to you whether you want to have representation at the mediation. Unfortunately, without knowing the details, I cannot tell you whether you have anything at risk by not having counsel with you.

Yes, it can be expensive to have an attorney attend with you. However, you must weigh your options of seeing how much you have to lose versus the costs associated with counsel reviewing your matter and/or attending.

Let me know if you would like to discuss the matter.

Sincerely,

Caleb
