Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

My mom died in 2006. She left an account for upkeep on the house she left me 50% of that I presently live in. The balance is to be transferred to me when the deed changes hands. The current bal. is $28,000.00. My uncle/exec. has dist. only $1000.00 from that account. He wants to buy my share of the home he also owns 25% of the same home. What should/can I do?

At the very least you should have a probate referee appraise the house so you could see what the numbers look like and go from there.
